Nova has been working as a professional singer and as a singing and voice teacher for twenty years. She is currently head of Musical Theatre at The Colchester Institute and also works as a freelance vocal and acting coach. 

Nova trained at Mountview Theatre School and went on to perform in the West End including "Oliver!" at The London Palladium. Nova has also worked frequently as a session singer in the pop industry and has worked as a lead vocalist for Celebrity Cruises and as a Cruise Director for the exclusive Yachts of Seabourn.

Nova began her journey with Estill Voice Training almost ten years ago and began training as a CMT (Certified Master Teacher) with Anne-Marie Speed in 2012. Nova passed in 2016 and is delighted to now teach the model to others.  CMT's are now called Estill Master Trainers (EMT). Nova is a member of the British Voice Association. 

Nova has also taught  accent and articulation at The Urdang Academy and singing at The  IUAV Univeristy of Venice. 

She has directed many productions and showcases for The Institute including Gypsy, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, Cabaret, Avenue Q , Ordinary Days.  Into the Woods, The Wiz and Made in Dagenham.
